Built on Family Values. Driven by Community.

The Sheridan Group Foundation was born out of a simple but powerful idea — that success only truly matters when it’s shared.

Our founder, Anthony Sheridan, grew up on a council estate in Ancoats, Manchester. Life wasn’t always easy, but it was filled with heart, love, grit, and that unmistakable sense of community you only find in places where people look out for each other. Those roots shaped everything Anthony stands for today.

Now, as the owner of multiple growing businesses across Manchester, Anthony has never forgotten where he came from or the people who helped him along the way. He believes that with success comes a responsibility: to give back, lift people up, and create genuine change close to home.

The Sheridan Group Foundation is how we do that.

We exist to ensure that no child goes hungry, that every family feels warmth and dignity, and that young people in our communities have real opportunities to build a future. Whether it’s offering warm meals, delivering emergency support, or providing apprenticeships and career pathways for local teenagers, our mission is built on love, loyalty, and second chances.

We’re not just a charity, we’re a family. Our staff, partners, and supporters are the heart of everything we do. We roll up our sleeves, get involved, and make a difference together.

Because when you’re built on family values, you never forget your roots, and you never leave people behind.

Koala department Paediatric department at NMGH

Geraldine Hughes contacting the Sheridan group and asked if we could support the A&E department with toys due to cuts and funding within the NHS and the red tape needed to free up crucial funds.

Resources are in low demand and takes a considerable amount of time to obtain funds via the normal channels.

The Sheridan group foundation asked a preferred list and purchased the much-needed toys for the waiting area at the Koala unit which has made a massive difference to children and parents awaiting treatment.

The foundation also delivered Easter gifts to the unit to brighten up the ward, and to make the stay for Children and families more bearable.
