The Sheridan Group Foundation

Koala department Paediatric department at NMGH

Geraldine Hughes contacting the Sheridan Group Foundation and asked if we could support the A&E department with toys due to cuts and funding within the NHS and the red tape needed to free up crucial funds.

Resources are in low demand and takes a considerable amount of time to obtain funds via the normal channels. The Sheridan group foundation asked a preferred list and purchased the much-needed toys for the waiting area at the Koala unit which has made a massive difference to children and parents awaiting treatment.

The foundation also delivered Easter gifts to the unit to brighten up the ward, and to make the stay for Children and families more bearable.
